January 17, 2001 - Vertigo Seeks New Round of Financing to Continue 9.6 Linux Port Vertigo Software Corp. announces that the Company will not be proceeding with the worldwide exclusive license agreement entered into with Aztek Technologies Inc. of Kelowna, B.C. (see new release dated April 4, 2000). Aztek and a Third Party have approached the Company with respect to negotiating a new proposal that would be beneficial to all parties. The search for new funding has temporarily stalled the programming of the port however UI development and workflow analysis for the application still continue. The Linux port of Vertigo's primary 3D modelling and animation technology is key to the future growth of the company and the continuation of which, will be pursued vigorously in the months to come.
