December 1, 2000 - Phase I of Vertigo 9.6 Port to Linux Complete

Vertigo is pleased to announce that Phase I of the Linux port of Vertigo 9.6 is complete.

Phase I targets included a straight port of the user interface along with a functional extrusion modeller.

Chief Engineer for the project Brian Lee along with his assistants Jahan Badar and Ali Reha-Mohazib have made extraordinary strides in the project and is a testament to their engineering skill, efficiency and organization.

The UI development team of Chris Corman and Patrick Popek have also made great progress on the updated UI prototype that will wrap the new Linux version in an up-to-date look and feel that 3D users have come to expect from a world class 3D application.
